Summary of Benefits
Vacation:
All full time employees of Dellinger, Inc. are entitled to two (2) weeks vacation after two (2) years of continuous full-time service, one week after one (1) year of service.
Group Health and Life Insurance:
After completing ninety (90) days of continuous full-time employment with Dellinger, Inc., group health and life insurance benefits are available at no cost to the employee. Employees are responsible for obtaining, completing, and returning all application forms to the Monroe office. Group insurance coverage for dependents is available. The cost for dependent coverage must be paid by the employee. This cost is deducted on a pre-tax basis under the Dellinger, Inc. Premium Conversion Plan (Sect. 125) unless elected otherwise. If for any reason an employee, or dependents if applicable, are uninsurable, Dellinger, Inc. will not be responsible for providing group health and life insurance or any other insurance.
Short Term Disability Insurance:
Short term disability (STD) insurance coverage is available to all full-time employees who have completed ninety (90) days of continuous full-time employment. The Dellinger, Inc. STD Plan will provide a weekly benefit to those eligible employees who elect coverage and are unable to work because of an accident or sickness and are under a doctor's care. STD is offered on an optional basis and 100% of the cost is the responsibility of the employee.
Long Term Disability Insurance:
Long term disability (LTD) insurance coverage is available to all full-time employees who have completed ninety (90) days of continuous full-time employment. The Dellinger, Inc. LTD Plan will provide a monthly benefit to those eligible employees who elect coverage and are unable to work because of a total disability. Dellinger, Inc. will pay one-half of the premium for any employee who elects to be covered by the LTD Plan. The remaining half of the LTD premium is to be paid by the employee electing coverage.
Medical Reimbursement / Dependent Care Assistance Plan:
On January 1 of each year, all full-time employees who have been employed for one or more years are allowed to set aside money from their company pay on a pre-tax basis, (per Section 125 of the IRS code), for reimbursed medical expenses and dependent care expenses. Participating employees are reimbursed thru Elkin & Associates of Charlotte, NC as expenses are incurred during the year.
Retirement Plan:
Employees, 18 years old or older, with one (1) year employment with Dellinger, Inc. are eligible to participate in the Dellinger, Inc. 401k Savings/Retirement Plan. Dellinger, Inc. will contribute 25% of up to 8% of the funds deferred by an employee, (i.e.: Dellinger, Inc.'s maximum is 2% of your gross wages). Funds deposited into the retirement account by Dellinger, Inc. are subject to a vesting schedule with an employee being 100% vested after six (6) years of employment.
Employees are expected to personally make the effort to notify the company of any absence or tardiness. If you are ill, have a special problem, or an emergency and cannot report to work on time, contact your Supervisor directly prior to starting time so that arrangements may be made to alter the distribution of work if necessary. If unable to contact your supervisor, call the office (704) 283-7551 before 9:00 AM. Failure to call in with good reason will be considered an unexcused absence. Three unexcused absences within any six (6) month period will be grounds for immediate termination.
