CURRENT PROJECTS

Line Division

The line division is currently working throughout NC.  Current public utility jobs including The US 29/ NC 49 Northeast Water Transmission Main for the City Of Charlotte, NC. The Charlotte job consist of 922 linear feet of 60 inch ductile iron pipe, 1340 linear feet of 48 inch ductile iron pipe, 4033 linear feet of 36 inch ductile iron pipe, 677 linear feet of 24 inch ductile iron pipe, 1074 linear feet of 20 inch ductile iron pipe and 560 linear feet of 12 inch ductile iron pipe. The Charlotte job also consist of butterfly valves ranging in size from 20 inch to 60 inch and required night time tie-ins due to water outages at the University and the Hospital.

Dellinger is also working for the City of Raleigh on their Cemetery Branch Sanitary Sewer Replacement and Relocation.  This project consists of laying 5600 linear feet of 10 inch to 18 inch pvc & ductile iron pipe sewer lines anywhere from 6 feet to 22 feet in the ground.  The laying of the line consists of removing the existing 100 year old line, boring under streets, open cutting creeks, blasting rock, handling contaminated soils, bypass pumping, asphalt replacement, and traffic control.  The work is being completed within an older residential and commercial part of downtown Raleigh, NC that is going through revitalization

. The line division has been working for Charlotte Mecklenburg Utilities on many FY project in and around Charlotte. Currently the projects with CMU are the FY 10 Contract C and FY11 Contract 1- Stree Main Extensions..  These 2 contracts requires a crew to work on nearly 50 individual projects spanning 2 calendar years.  These small projects consist of 2 inch to 16 inch water/sewer main extension, and new water/sewer services.
